About:

This pre-conference workshop in Brisbane on Monday 9 November serves as an introduction to many of the terms and concepts explored during the two-day AI in public health conference.

​

A basic grounding in AI platforms and tools will be provided combined with hands-on tool use with evidence-informed perspectives on AI deployment and evaluation.

​

It is designed to be immediately useful for practitioners, while also connecting to ongoing research and system level considerations.

Public health professionals, researchers, policy staff, and healthcare workers with little or no prior experience using AI tools.
